Position Summary
We are looking for a Vice President, Social Strategy to lead the development of social strategy for a complex, global portfolio of brands and markets. This role will sit at the intersection of business strategy, culture, consumer intelligence, media, creative, partnerships, and social platforms, helping clients move beyond channel execution to unlock the broader business value of social. The VP will serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients and internal leadership, shaping how social informs upstream business and marketing decisions while building the frameworks, governance, and capabilities required to scale social effectively across markets. This is a highly collaborative leadership role for a strategic thinker who can move fluidly between big-picture vision and practical execution and who is passionate about using social to understand consumers, identify cultural opportunities, and drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Characteristics & Qualities
10+ years of social and influencer strategy experience.
Strong understanding of social-first event marketing and the intersection of digital, social, and influencer activations.
Experience leading large-scale experiential activations with integrated influencer and social strategies.
Proven ability to develop and execute high-impact, measurable social media campaigns and partnerships.
Deep understanding of influencer marketing best practices, talent relations, and contract negotiations.
Ability to think strategically while also executing with a high level of detail and organization.
Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class experiences.
Demonstrated expertise in social media trends, platform algorithms, and emerging technologies.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present ideas and strategies to both internal teams and clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with data-driven decision-making, using insights to inform strategy and optimize performance.
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, always seeking opportunities for improvement and growth.
A commitment to fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture that drives innovation and excellence.
Experience in leading and managing a team of 10+ people and mentoring direct reports.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
