Media responsibility is at the forefront of everything we do, whether it’s creating media plans that reflect the diversity of our communities, promote brand safety, and foster sustainability.

Our agency celebrates diversity in an inclusive environment where all of our 6,000+ strong talent across 90+ markets feel seen, heard, and valued. Our vision is to create not only a better media company, but also a better media industry, and maybe even a better world.

Role Description

As an Associate in the Communications Design team, you will be a critical member of the day-to-day team on one of the most exciting clients in the agency and one of the biggest brands in the world: Amazon.

The Associate position is an entry level role requiring an eager, proactive, and energetic person who is passionate about media, marketing & consumer behaviour. You should be curious about how brands grow and how diverse communications approaches work to create a difference for categories and brands.

The Associate is a crucial position within the team, assisting in the creation of communications design briefs to help deliver on our clients’ business objectives while gaining a foundational knowledge of how a Media Agency runs and how we service our clients. You will work closely with the Amazon team, internal specialists and media owners, so you’ll need to love working with a broad and diverse range of people.

This role sits within the Amazon XCM (Cross Category Marketing) team where you will help to ensure great communications ideas make their way into market on integrated campaigns such as the Women’s Football Brand campaign, Prime Day, Black Friday, Spring Sale, Holliday Season and more.

You will work closely with your direct team and the wider Amazon team, using proprietary and industry tools to quantify how different communications scenarios (across Owned, Earned, Paid media) perform against key communications and business goals, including running cross-platform Reach & Frequency, flighting scenarios, and ROI analyses. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all plan details are accurately coded and inputted into our systems and making any adjustments as required.

Building your communications planning knowledge, you will be passionate about learning about how brands grow and how different communications approaches (flighting, weights, channel combinations) work to create a difference for your categories and brands.  Within the team, you will keep up to date with the latest planning approaches and insights (industry, vendor, client, category), and regularly share this with your team.

This role requires a keen attention to detail, with the Associate role being the custodian of the finance process, production scheduling and media performance delivery reports. Organisation and accuracy are vital to delivering tasks for Amazon, with opportunity to grow within the role in a communications planning capacity.

Campaigns will be activated across all channels in conjunction with specialists (AV, OOH, Digital, Social, Print & Radio).
