Client Overview: 

Kraken is a leading cryptocurrency exchange with a global customer profile including both professional expert and retail trader audiences. Krakens mission is to accelerate the global adoption of crypto so that everyone can achieve financial freedom and inclusion. We provide strategy, planning and activation services across the upper funnel, with channel activity including Partnerships, Social, Addressable and Streaming Audio. We combine innovative planning with strong data and analytics to drive global brand success. 

Royal Caribbean International is a major cruise line known for its large, innovative ships and extensive global itineraries. Our goal is to inspire premium families to see Royal Caribbean as the ultimate luxury adventure. We provide strategy, planning and activation across the full funnel. Our channel selection includes TV, Cinema, CTV, BVOD, Video, OOH, Search and Social. Combining all of this with strong data and analytics to increase bookings and reduce media wastage. 

Position Overview: 

As an Account Director at Mediahub, you will be at the forefront of client interaction, responsible for understanding their needs, developing tailored media strategies using the relevant Mediahub tools and planning process, and ensuring flawless campaign execution. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve client objectives, manage budgets effectively, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction while delivering impactful media solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

Your roles and responsibilities will be centered around the below core competencies. These include but are not limited to: 

Client Service 

  • Lead contact in day-to-day communication with your direct clients, nurturing relationships and delivering high standards of client satisfaction. 
  • Lead all regular status calls with clients and ensure all actions are documented and followed up in a timely manner. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with media partners, with Mediahub being known as a key agency partners want to work alongside. 

Commercial 

  • Full understanding of the commercial agreement between agency and client, ensuring all plans have the correct charges before sign-off. 
  • Good understanding of Mediahub's products and ability to identify and alert senior client team members to new revenue opportunities. 
  • Support the Business Director in reviewing commercial arrangements and understanding their impact on work delivery. 

Career Development & Team Management 

  • Train, mentor and support the Account Manager/s within your team, including supporting career development conversations for Executives and MBPs. 
  • Contribute to agency culture and represent your client team by celebrating good work and individual successes. 
  • Support the GAD and/or Business Director in setting the tone for your team, living out Mediahubs values daily. 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Prior planning experience across all channels, particularly digital (Addressable Display & OLV, Social, Audio), and traditional (TV, OOH, Cinema). 
  • Experience in planning across the UK and European countries (desired). 
  • Embraces a Challenger mindset in work delivery and team management. 
  • Excellent client servicing skills. 
  • Agile in approach and able to move quickly on new opportunities. 
  • Experience managing a team, their workload and personal progression.
