Position Summary

An exciting opportunity to join the vibrant UM team and account manage a portfolio of brands. The successful candidate will play a significant role in the team, driving forward innovative thinking and media planning excellence across digital and offline channels

 

Key Responsibilities

As Comms Planner you will support senior staff in producing relevant client action plans and play a key role in the planning process. This process includes discovering actionable insights from brand, category and audience analysis to mapping moments and using creativity to produce strategic value and ultimately delivering a suitable channel selection to achieve results. You will understand the importance of identifying the HVA and reaching them through precision targeting.

You will take ownership of all media plans across offline and online channels by leading campaign implementation. You will need to integrate and collaborate with the different business units within IPG, such as Kinesso, AV and Partnerships to ensure the day to day activity is running smoothly. Deliver specialist briefs and subsequent buying briefs – negotiate and buy direct digital activity and work with Kinesso to deliver programmatic campaigns. Analyse reports to give client clear insights on how the campaign is performing and actionable recommendations

Beyond meeting and exceeding your client’s expectations, you are responsible for the day to day tasks which include: Ensuring that media plans and Prisma/DDS are kept up to date to delivering timely and insightful reporting and PCAs.

You will also be responsible for assisting in new business pitches.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Previous media planning experience
  • Expertise in using audience planning tools such as TGI, Adserve, Cafas, Comscore & Power Point, Excel and finance programs such as DDS and Prisma.
  • Highly organised individual with experience in managing digital campaigns 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly personable, collaborative and team-oriented
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active, always looking to make positive contribution and get involved
  • Experience working on a range of brands, and across a wide range of channels. Ideally someone who has been responsible for the implementation and management of campaigns across all media.
