Role Description 

The Account Executive role is ideal for someone who is eager to get into the world of media, to understand how advertising campaigns are planned & delivered alongside learning everything digital & comms from the ground up.

The role will be sat as part of the Fidelity Account team and covers a variety of responsibilities, from supporting the team on forming communication strategies, creating media plans, finance and administrative duties, to working closely with third parties like Google, Meta, etc. to help make our ideas reality.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a strategic & creative comms media team. You won’t be expected to have experience, but we do expect you to have a true passion for digital, understanding how people think & behave, and have your own opinions from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the ad operations team to set up our media and ensure campaigns go live as planned, and are tracking performance correctly
  • Work closely with the different business units within IPG, such as Social, Programmatic, AV, Search & Print teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly
  • Provide regular excel reporting and insights on campaign delivery & any actions for the team and clients to take
  • Support the team with post campaign performance analysis, showing actions to take for future campaigns
  • Book, Monitor & Bill campaign delivery costs to client through our accounting system
  • Compile competitive reports for clients to show how their competitors advertise, where and how much they spend
  • Support the team in planning new campaigns by using specialist tools to identify audience insights to help clients understand their target market
  • Help across wider account responsibilities e.g. status meetings, MEA’s, meeting agendas, contact reports and general team coordination

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Someone who is passionate & wants to learn about media in advertising and the role an agency plays to deliver advertising & communications
  • Have a genuine interest in understanding how consumers behave, the digital world, future trends e.g. AI, cookieless, etc. and what’s next.
  • Highly personable with a collaborative spirit, someone who thrives in, and helps create a positive and powerful team dynamic
  • Enthusiastic, driven and pro-active, always looking to make positive contribution, get involved and develop their skills
  • Competent in Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook.
  • Great numerical ability with very good attention to detail
  • Organisation & Multi-tasking skills
