Position Summary

Mediabrands Content Studio seeks a highly organized and experienced Associate Director to lead project management and program activation across all custom content programs for our USPS account. This is a pivotal cross-functional role requiring collaboration with Integrated Account Leads, Media, Audience Strategists, and Creative Experts to flawlessly execute custom content programs. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of federal brand marketing regulations and a passion for managing demanding, sensitive client needs.

You will be at the heart of our custom content partnerships, translating big ideas into impactful campaigns through tactical plans. You are a solution-oriented self-starter, adept at managing multiple work streams with precision and attention to detail. You are passionate about fostering client relationships and managing demanding and sensitive business needs. You have experience managing content programs that include media touchpoints like linear TV, audio, custom video production, and talent/influencer. You will report to the VP, Content Director of Activation and collaborate closely with internal agency teams (Creative, Production, Talent, Content Experience, Media Investment, and Planning).

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management & Operations: Develop and implement consistent project workflows from initiation to completion, including partnering with Creative on vendor RFP processes and proposal analysis, client/internal status meetings, timeline management, project kickoffs, legal/regulatory review, and partner/agency relationship management.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with senior client and agency stakeholders, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention. Proactively anticipate challenges and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
  • Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, concise weekly (or agreed-upon interval) status reports to clients, including pre- and post-meeting agendas and detailed recaps. Ensure quality control of all client-facing materials.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze internal workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient solutions to enhance quality and timelines. Design and implement operational processes aligned with best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements and checkpoints for content creation, ensuring all work remains compliant. Immediately escalate serious client issues to your manager, providing recommended solutions whenever possible.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, marketing, advertising, agency production, or project management, with a proven track record of successful client management. Experience with government clients is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in operational leadership, creative production, change management, and organizational development.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Deep understanding of content programs encompassing linear TV, audio, custom video production, and talent/influencer marketing.

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
