Position Summary

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the team as a Financial Analyst. This role will report into the Manager, Media Investment Finance and support the team across an extensive spectrum of commercial, operational, transformation and ad hoc deliverables. This opportunity will afford the right individual a wide range of responsibilities and exposure to develop skills in media finance while being part of a team and organization that is looking to expand into new areas of growth.

Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support the preparation and analysis of revenue support files and journal entries for accurate revenue reporting.
  • Perform detailed revenue analysis and provide supporting commentary for significant variances to forecast.
  • Track and update open AP balances, as well as reconcile and clear out A/P.
  • Perform partner deal analysis and financial modeling.
  • Assist with contract status tracking and reporting to leadership.
  • Support the creation and update of process documentation (narratives, flowcharts, SOPs) as well as other ad-hoc deliverables that arise.

 

Qualifications

 Education:

  • Concentration in Finance or Accounting is preferred 

 Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 0-3 years of experience within a financial budgeting and/or accounting function
  • Media/Agency experience is a plus

 Skills:

  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, possesses sense of urgency, thrives on accomplishing tasks accurately and efficiently, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi task, high level of integrity, quick learner, a self-starter and able to work in a fast paced environment 
  • The individual will be expected to work independently and be able to collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving, and results
  • Highly proficient with MS Office products such as Advanced Excel, Power Point, and Access. Ability to create queries, macros, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and other excel functions
  • Solid financial analysis skills and comfort with numbers. Prior experience with modeling would be beneficial
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
