Role Description 

The Associate Account Director is responsible for leading and managing agency resources to the delivery of high-quality service and digital solutions so that all client needs are met on time, to budget and to the highest standards of service. Reporting into an Account Director, you will be responsible for both the strategic development of your client’s accounts and organization of the team.  You will be responsible for the management and development of the Managers, Analysts and Executives on your team, overseeing the quality of their work, career development and training needs.  

Key Responsibilities 

Client Relationships 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all key clients 
  • Share knowledge, new platforms and industry developments with key clients 
  • Grow revenue from your key clients by increasing their investment in Paid Social or introducing new channels 

Leadership & Management 

  • Lead the delivery of Paid Social services in your team, ensuring a high quality of work that adheres to best practice and meets client expectations 
  • Ensure all finance, PO’s and budgets for all clients follow due process in the team 
  • Co-ordinate and delegate work amongst your team to ensure tasks are allocated effectively depending on skills and resource 
  • Set and manage expectations of your team to ensure deadlines are met 
  • Manage your direct reports, including their development and training needs 
  • Provide effective support to Account Directors and the Head of Social and Head Social  

Service Delivery 

  • Be at the forefront of Paid Social by keeping up to date with industry news, new platforms and technologies 
  • Assist in the delivery of campaign work when necessary  
  • Help in preparation for and attend sales pitches as required 
  • Lead and build required key client communications and deliverables e.g. QBRs, campaign reviews and meetings 
  • Align strategy and ensure client needs are met with other teams across Reprise including wider Social teams, other channels, new business and client services 

Innovation & Initiative 

  • Develop imaginative, innovative and effective ideas and process improvements for your clients 
  • Contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client’s business, how we work, and the industry we are in; establish a presence in the agency. 
  • Be a trusted, knowledgeable source of information and developments in search marketing 

Desired Skills & Experience 

  • The perfect candidate will already be working in Paid Social as an Account Manager (senior preferred), with experience managing campaigns for large brands. 
  • You will know the Facebook Ads platform inside out while having a working knowledge of Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest or other biddable ad platforms. 
  • You would have gained significant experience managing a team of Paid Social Executives and Senior Executives to meet client’s expectations and deliver key tasks on time.  
  • You would have had exposure to, or managed large project based work outside of campaign management, such as agency transitions, client handovers, centralizations or new business pitches.   
  • You have examples of owned initiatives that has achieved budget / account growth.  
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment; will love the dynamic and high-energy atmosphere of digital and are looking to make the step up from Manager to Associate Director at a big agency.
