Role Summary

In this role you'll collaborate closely with Volvo’s “Content Engine” — a centralized marketing function responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality content globally.

The purpose and ambition of the Content Engine is to create consistent, scalable and high performing content, powered by data driven optimisation and deployed across all Volvo's local and global marketing initiatives. The team is already delivering effectively today. Our ambition is that with specialist support from us as Volvo's main agency partner, the Content Engine can improve efficiency and effectiveness still further.

The Content Engine is made up of several key teams and roles, tasked with defining the global content strategy and governance framework, aligning content with media and business objectives, translating briefs into content deliverables, and managing budget allocation across touch points. The Production team handles asset creation — from templates to final executions — with an emphasis on adaptability across markets.

Purpose of Role

The role aims to drive production efficiencies and minimize wastage by aligning content and media strategies, maximize the effectiveness of COS assets through a structured global test and learn approach, and drive operational excellence through consistent application of a frictionless creative trafficking workflow.

Global consistency

  • Ensure creatives are setup accurately and consistently across global markets.
  • Represent Content Engine’s data and taxonomy requirements within Initiative.
  • Document and monitor any deviations in structures, optimization methods and creative rotation affecting output and reporting.

Global performance monitoring & reporting

  • Support a robust ad taxonomy logic catering for ease and scalability in production and media.
  • Support a robust performance reporting schedule, process and agenda getting engines together.
  • Support creative analysis and development by continuously monitoring campaigns and ad performance at scale.
  • Provide suggestions on how to optimize campaigns and ad performance against set metrics and KPIs.

  • Collaborate with regional agency account teams and stakeholders to:
