What is the role?

The People and Culture (P&C) Coordinator plays a key support role to the People and Culture team as well as customer service role for our team members across Australia.  

This role involves efficiently managing various People and Culture administrative tasks while providing basic advisory and consultancy services on People and Culture matters to allocated departments (brands).

The P&C coordinator is often the first point of contact for People and Culture related queries and supports the smooth functioning of systems, processes, and compliance within the organization.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Manage incoming requests through our central team inbox and ticketing system, escalating to senior team members where necessary.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to P&C functions, including but not limited to employee data management, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and recordkeeping.
  • Generating contracts, employment variation letters and other ad-hoc documentation.
  • Partner with payroll team on new starters, employee variations and departures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR information system (HRIS) and other databases.
  • Collaborate with P&C team members to ensure consistent implementation of P&C policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Generate People reports and data analysis as needed for management and decision-making purposes.
  • Assist in organizing any administration relating to employee orientation and training programs, keeping track of attendees.
  • Liaising with the People and Culture Advisors and Directors on queries relating to their brands.

  • Clear communication skills and strong emotional intelligence as you deal with people and important queries.
  • Well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build rapport, interact effectively at all levels and provide support and advice.
