Position Overview

KINESSO’s Platforms and Intelligence Team is a global team of technology and media experts focused on consulting and implementing best in class solutions for our clients. As a Director of AdTech/MarTech Solutions, your role entails a balanced blend of technical and marketing acuity, plus understanding of how data and AdTech/MarTech solutions can best drive the future of Integrated Media and drive innovation and transformation efforts. In conjunction with the client team at Initiative, you will be working on evaluating MarTech and AdTech solutions, building innovation roadmaps and test & learn frameworks and leveraging internal IPG tools & resources. Ideal candidate also has experience working with 1st, 2nd & 3rd party data, understanding and managing taxonomies and data collection methodologies.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of relevant AdTech and MarTech developments, case studies, data, tools and industry news to ensure team members and clients are up to date on the latest privacy (Global + APLA-relevant) updates, developments from data and tech partners, changes to data collection methodologies, data depreciation, changes to walled garden policies
  • Spearhead Client Onboarding process from Martech and AdTech perspective
  • Evaluate technology partners (data partners, platforms and tool RFIs)
  • Compile rate cards across partners when needed
  • Leverage IPG audience assets and tools. Develop new opportunities across partners and platforms
  • Oversee client’s AdTech / Martech ticket intake system, working back with Nike Territory Program Managers and Nike engineering teams to ensure requests are being flagged and completed in a timely manner. Provide monthly status updates to the client
  • Funneling the ticket to the appropriate teams within Nike for review and solve
  • Keeping the Territories updated with the status of their tickets
  • Ensuring the Nike teams are progressing with solutions
  • Closing the Airtable tickets
  • In partnership with client media enablement lead, represent client in Global Martech/AdTech workstreams, such as, but not limited to: Signal-Loss, Trade Engine, CAPI, Universal Linking, 1st party audience opportunities, Data foundations and other priority workstreams. Work back with different client teams to align on priorities, next steps, and implications that need to be addressed.
  • Support day-to-day platform requests & troubleshooting from client’s local markets for access and management of Segment, Singular, GMP, Feedonomics, Adobe, etc.
  • Partner with Media Operations team on the development, rollout, onboarding and training of a media consolidation tool
  • Partner with Analytics team to manage timelines and progress data foundations workstreams that intersect with any AdTech/MarTech workstreams

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with retail or e-commerce clients
  • 10-15 years of experience in audience development, data driven marketing and/or digital marketing
  • Have a strong knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including DSP, DMP, CDP, Ad Server, Ad Verification and Site Analytics
  • Understanding of data landscape and utilization (1st party, 2nd/3rd party)
  • Understanding of media consolidation tools, inclusive of their buildout/rollout
  • 5-7 years of experience in managing clients and teams
  • Ability to delegate and oversee direct reports
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work successfully on a Global team, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines under pressure with varying hours (Territories span across LATAM & APAC) – some evening hours may be required.
  • Ideal candidate will be Portland-based (ability to work from client offices)

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
