Position Summary

IPG Mediabrands is seeking a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join the Talent Acquisition team to focus on recruiting for global talent. The TA team is a fast-paced, highly motivated group of talent professionals focused on delivering strategic talent pipelines and enriched candidate experiences. In this role, you will act as a talent pipeline builder, identifying and recruiting talent across all IPG Mediabrands agencies. You may be called upon to engage with prospective candidates to better understand their experiences, interests, and motivations and act as a talent partner to Recruiters.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with Recruiters to calibrate on the open roles and determine essential position requirements.
  • Source and identify potential prospects for current openings and future roles using a variety of tools and methods including LinkedIn.
  • Build comprehensive Boolean search strings, mine candidate databases like our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse), professional networks, social media, referrals resume to highlight relevant resumes/profiles for current openings and future pipeline.
  • Build active and passive pipelines of highly qualified candidates with a focus on diverse representation and data integrity.
  • Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, providing details on the selection process and Hiring Leader feedback.
  • Phone screen candidates to evaluate skills, interest level, salary range and overall suitability for the open roles.
  • Craft compelling value proposition in conversations and e-mails to elevate the brand such that it generates candidate interest in current openings.
  • Execute on ad hoc responsibilities such as performing specialized candidate management (interview scheduling, providing feedback) and other duties, as required.
  • Track and analyze metrics and report on hiring progress, candidate pipeline, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to key initiatives and projects with internal teams that will continuously improve and scale Mediabrands’ recruiting efforts.
  • Deliver against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress to continue moving the needle in our hyper-growth environment.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to recruiters on the recruitment marketplace that helps keep managers informed about realistic expectations.
  • Develop business acumen by deepening the knowledge about Mediabrands as a company - its values, emerging business needs, and various agency cultures and initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or relevant field of study, with a minimum of 3 -4 years of recruiting experience.
  • Strong experience using ATS and/or CRM tools, managing and updating candidate data, and building candidate pipelines.
  • Knowledge of advanced internet search techniques preferred strong sourcing/head hunting skills and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel required.
  • Self-motivated and an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in matrix environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability for engaging effectively over the phone.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with passive candidates and to provide a “best in class” candidate experience.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, resilience, and an affinity for systems and an unrelenting inner drive for generating results.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Candidates with proven experience in sourcing, screening, assessing, and recruiting active and passive candidates will be preferred.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task and produce high volume pipelines under tight deadlines.
