About the role
The Senior Client Director manages the daily operation of the team, oversees the partnerships strategy and go to market approach and ensures the successful activation of clients’ investments. Working with high profile and successful clients you will bring your media agency experience and expertise to both our clients and our people.
You are adept at juggling multiple high-level projects at one time, researching and justifying partner selection and developing and negotiating multi-faceted media and marketing partnerships. You think strategically and work collaboratively with other Partnerships disciplines and with client team leaders in Strategy, Communications Design and SBUs to create Partner recommendations that deliver on client strategic goals and business objectives.
About you
- Dynamic and proactive, you are a leader who is a positive influence on others and cares about high performance and developing your team
- You know how to move fast, but not at the expense of being well organised with strong attention to detail and numeracy skills that deliver business efficiency
- You are hungry for success and demonstrate a keen interest in our industry through participation in industry bodies, events and programs
- You have excellent business communication skills; including persuasive presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively via email, phone and in person
- You understand the importance of client confidentiality and understand the information sharing boundaries with media and other external partners
What you need to bring
- 10 years of agency experience in media planning and buying; 4+ years’ experience team leadership
- Excellent understanding of media across offline media channels and how to apply to deliver optimal client solutions
- Exceptional media relationships at Sales Director levels that delivers a competitive advantage to our clients
- Detailed awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status and competition
- Understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising, as well as an understanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirements
- A critical thinker and problem-solver with analytical abilities and quantitative skills
- Expert user across all core implementation and investment media systems
- Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office Systems; Word, Excel & PowerPoin
