Role Description 

To champion and deliver Audience Solutions for UK and EMEA agencies and their clients.

Within the role, the split of task responsibility is approximately:

  • 65% Evangelising, Solutioning, and Driving Solution Uptake – Designing and packaging Audience Solutions for agencies and clients; Collaborating with internal teams to sell them in; Identifying and planning future opportunities; etc.
  • 35% Solution Project Management and Delivery – Understanding, managing and delivering Audience Solutions with the support of team; Capturing project campaigns outcomes and applying learnings; etc.

And the split of territorial responsibility is approximately:

  • 65% UK – Supporting UK Audience Solutions as a priority.
  • 35% EMEA – Supporting EMEA requirements. Responsibilities include: Compiling multi-market proposals; Supporting multi-market pitches; Gathering audience capabilities across markets; Supporting the roll-out of new partner solutions; Building relationships across markets.

 

The candidate who will most enjoy and flourish in this role is the person who:

  • Has the ability to communicate effectively – understanding how agency teams think, and being able to articulate and influence how an Audience Solution will fit into an overall media plan.
  • Has an interest in, and aptitude for, working across the whole Audience discipline – the job involves elements of both ‘consultative sales’ and a need to grasp the technical aspects of Solutions. In other words, you’ll be involved both in designing and proposing projects, and in managing and delivering them.

 

Main KPIs: total Kinesso KAS UK project revenue, total Acxiom UK activation revenue, solution usage penetration across clients and new business pitches, stakeholder satisfaction across clients and new business pitches

Team:

The successful candidate will work in an EMEA Audience Team of 4 (3 in London, 1 in Warsaw) reporting to the SVP, Audience & Identity.

The EMEA Audience Team is part of the wider Kinesso Data & Technology (D&T) team – which in turn forms part of the Kinesso, Mediabrands’ award-winning performance marketing engine. The Kinesso D&T team is comprised of a range of speciality marketing services, of which Audience is one.

The EMEA Audience Team provide future-facing audience and identity solutions to meet the needs and privacy demands of clients, consumers, and regulators. They help clients understand and reach audiences through the smart creation and deployment of audience data via proprietary and partner advertising solutions. The team work closely with Acxiom, IPG’s consumer and client data management specialists. Among other things, the EMEA Audience Team operate the UK iteration of IPG’s flagship data-driven audience marketing proposition, the Kinesso Audience Solution, a people-based audience platform operative in key markets across the globe.

 

Breakdown of role:

To champion and deliver Audience Solutions for UK and EMEA agencies and their clients.

Champion:

  • To adopt a ‘consultative sales’ approach, evangelising and educating across the group to drive Audience Solution adoption and Group revenue growth
  • To understand, gather and package up audience capabilities across markets
  • To craft and manage Audience Solution collateral and case studies
  • To support UK and EMEA requirements around multi-market proposals, scoping, costing
  • To support the media agencies in their new business efforts, in the area of audience data and strategy
  • To champion and support the roll-out of new partner Audience Solutions (e.g. new campaign measurement approaches)
  • To communicate effectively – understanding how agencies, their planners and activation teams, think, and being able to articulate and influence how an Audience Solution will fit into an overall media plan
  • To build relationships across the Group predicated on trust, utility, and an ability to deliver
  • To support EMEA market agency community engagement
  • To stay abreast of developments in the world of audience data and addressability, from privacy regulation to cookieless solutions

Deliver:

  • To manage and deliver UK audience projects in collaboration with the team. To work with key stakeholders in the delivery process, to ensure smooth running of projects and processes
  • Projects may involve: first-part data on-boarding; audience creation; audience insight; audience syndication; audience campaign measurement
  • To contribute to and maintain team tracking documentation around project delivery
  • To relentlessly pursue successful project outcomes, and the capturing and iterative improvement of those project outcomes
  • To support the stewards of the UK Audience Solution by helping out with essential functions whrre required (e.g. dataset analysis, product specifications, feature and data testing)
