About the Role

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Product Designer to join our growing global Product Design team as a Junior Product Designer. You will work with talented, award-winning designers in Colombia, Poland, the Netherlands, and New York, NY. You'll play a vital role in the design process, working alongside experienced designers, product managers, and engineers to bring innovative SaaS products to life. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from and work with extremely talented Design, Research, Innovation, and Technology professionals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Designers and Product Managers with user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Help translate user research findings into actionable insights and design solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to the design process.
  • Create low-fidelity wireframes and mockups to visualize design concepts.
  • Develop high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and iterate based on feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and meet user needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices.
  • Contribute to maintaining a consistent design language across all products.
  • Learn and grow your design skills through mentorship and participation in design workshops.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, bootcamp, or certificate in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0-2 years of experience in product design or a similar role (a strong portfolio can substitute for experience).
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges.

 

Bonus Points

  • Experience with user research methodologies (e.g., user interviews, card sorting).
  • Experience with prototyping.
  • Understanding of basic design principles (e.g., typography, color theory, layout).
  • A portfolio showcasing your design work and process.
