Position Overview

This role will aid in the expansion of existing client relationships and will assist in proposals and recommendations for new commerce campaign opportunities. This person will help support a Manager and drive agency innovation across the entire commerce ecosystem including exploration of new partners, test-and-learn audience targeting opportunities, and developing new media delivery capabilities. They will also have intermediate knowledge in the commerce space, specifically around activating audience-first commerce and retail media network programs via self-serve/biddable channels (through DSPs, Retail DSPs, and other buying platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Assists and supports Manager with the execution and day-to-day management of client accounts running addressable commerce programs
  • Understands the variety of Retail Media Networks and other commerce/data partners and their full value proposition
  • Manages vendor relationships and conversations single-handedly
  • Shares optimization recommendations with the team
  • Supports client relationship, host campaign kick off calls, assist Manager in campaign planning
  • Under moderate direction, works within significant limits and authority on assignments of higher complexity and coordination
  • Works with Manager to designs and delivers performance updates, new audience-based retail programmatic solutions, and growth opportunity presentations to key agency and client contacts
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Day to day lead for billing responsibility and clearing invoices
  • Day to day lead with partners across communication and scheduling of meetings
  • Active participant in key vendor meetings by sending recaps/full notes for the team
  • Seek out information to remain current on media trends and share with team members with relevant implications/potential opportunities

 

Desired / Required Skills and Experience 

  • Digital Media Systems and Tools: Knowledge of technology or measurement ad tech solutions, including DSPs, Retail DSPs and other buying platforms such as Amazon DSP, Walmart DSP, The Trade Desk, Display Video 360, Yahoo, Skai, Pacvue and more (Intermediate)
  • Commerce and Retail Media: Knowledge of major Retail Media Networks and capabilities, especially in the self-serve/biddable/addressable landscape, and retailer search product offerings (Intermediate)
  • Addressable / Programmatic: Capable of effectively communicating the technicalities of programmatic for strategic purposes (Intermediate)
  • Performance Marketing: Knowledge and experience in performance marketing tactics, building optimization hypotheses, and combining brand, performance and commerce media as a holistic activation strategy (Basic)
  • Relationship Management: Managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally (Intermediate)
  • Problem Solving: Anticipates, recognizes, and clearly defines problems using various techniques to systematically analyze, weigh alternatives and propose solutions (Intermediate)

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
