Position Overview

This role will serve as a key lead in the expansion of existing client relationships and will lead proposals and recommendations for new commerce campaign opportunities. This person will help support and drive agency innovation across the entire commerce ecosystem including exploration of new partners, test-and-learn audience targeting opportunities, and developing new media delivery capabilities. They will also be a thought leader in the commerce space, specifically around activating audience-first commerce and retail media network programs via self-serve/biddable channels (through DSPs, Retail DSPs, and other buying platforms).

Responsibilities

  • Owns relationships for set of client accounts running addressable commerce programs; serves as primary client contact for team and the first point of escalation in client issues
  • Works with Retail Media Networks and other commerce/data partners on client opportunities as well as keeping up with latest capabilities and roadmaps, finding new testing opportunities
  • Focused on developing data-driven commerce programs across biddable channels (display, video, CTV, audio, digital out-of-home and more) and retailer search (and a frequent combination of the two) in pursuit of omnichannel revenue growth for clients
  • Responsible for account stewardship, including day-to-day client comms and meetings, campaign recommendations, campaign set up and launch, data onboarding, contracting/paperwork and more
  • Collaborates with various functional groups across the accounts
  • Monitors campaign performance and effectively presents information and recommendations to client
  • Represents team in day-to-day client communication and meetings
  • Develops new commerce campaign proposals and recommendations and oversees all aspects of campaign launch
  • Partners with the Activation team to ensure relevant strategies are implemented and monitors campaigns to ensure they are meeting/exceeding client goals
  • Organizes and presents reporting for internal leadership, agency partners, and clients (e.g. quarterly account reviews, campaign wrap-ups and case studies, etc.)
  • Requires understanding of the industry, processes, procedures and systems within own and related areas
  • Uses knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams (internal and external) to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and personal goals

Desired / Required Skills and Experience 

  • Digital Media Systems and Tools: Knowledge of technology or measurement ad tech solutions, including DSPs, Retail DSPs and other buying platforms such as Amazon DSP, Walmart DSP, The Trade Desk, Display Video 360, Yahoo, Skai, Pacvue and more (Advanced)
  • Commerce and Retail Media: Knowledge of major Retail Media Networks and capabilities, especially in the self-serve/biddable/addressable landscape, and retailer search product offerings (Intermediate/Advanced)
  • Addressable / Programmatic: Capable of effectively communicating the technicalities of programmatic for strategic purposes (Advanced)
  • Performance Marketing: Knowledge and experience in performance marketing tactics, building optimization hypotheses, and combining brand, performance and commerce media as a holistic activation strategy (Intermediate)
  • Relationship Management: Managing existing business relationships, partnerships, and alliances internally and externally (Advanced)
  • Problem Solving: Anticipates, recognizes, and clearly defines problems using various techniques to systematically analyze, weigh alternatives and propose solutions (Advanced)

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
