Position Summary
We are looking for a Manager, Content, to join our team here at Mediabrands Brands Content Studio. Experience should include supporting the Content Director and/or VP, Group Content Director in leading a team through campaign management ranging from media-centric branded content 360 programs to experiential-based consumer engagement initiatives, talent-led & influencers programs, to entertainment-driven integration & co-marketing programs. It is essential to not only effectively manage cross-channel programs for clients but exhibit strong strategic thinking skills as well as knowledge around emerging media platforms and have a passion for culture overall.
The Content Management team plays a vital role within the agency, driving content initiatives from ideation through execution in addition to being a liaison to the strategy, planning & research teams throughout the agency. As a Manager, you must unearth content opportunities within the organization, assist in executing content programs across platforms, and support the overall team in providing creative solutions to road bumps that arise throughout the ideation & execution process.
Responsibilities
- Support the Content Director and/or VP, Group Content Director in covering the following duties:
- Executing integrated marketing efforts with partners across media platforms and production studios
- Managing all aspects of pre and postproduction process
- Asset transfer/collection and content approvals between client and partners
- Contributing to presentation buildout, including outlining strategic setup, clear brief, and storytelling. Assisting in finalizing materials prior to sharing with leadership and clients
- Ensure tactical components of custom programs both leading up to and after each campaign, such as calendars, recaps, post reports, are on track and delivered successfully
- Monitoring competitive industry and marketplace trends
- Day-to-day responsibilities include program negotiations, production oversight, overall execution, document upkeep, managing Creative & Talent teams, providing strategic POVs to clients, executing contracting & legal agreements
- Lead with solutions
- Author simple Creative briefs from materials shared by agency AORs
- Support brainstorms and provide value for custom content and stunt-based ideas
- Collaborate with media planning and buying leads (linear and digital) and activation partners to develop and execute ideas aligned to media strategies
- Evaluate and provide POV on opportunistic partnership proposals
- Assist in monitoring overall media promotions and custom execution budgets, alongside content team leads
Desired Skills & Experience
- 3+ years professional experience in media, marketing, advertising, agencies, production, creative or the arts – client and team management experience required
- Experience in media buying, planning or sales a plus
- High level of comfort and ability in presenting to clients and internal team members
- Self-starter, demonstrates initiative
- Creative and adaptive thinker that enjoys learning, taking on unfamiliar challenges, and shaping new strategic approaches and frameworks
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage people on different workstreams across various clients

- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Creative/copy-writing ability a plus

- Eager to learn and grow from peers and collaborators, open to constructive feedback
- *Photoshop, Illustrator, copywriting, video editing (a plus but not required)
- *Experience working across various client industries such as retail, beauty, finance, insurance, or tech a plus

The salary range for this position is posted below.
