Position Overview: 

As Director of Analytics this role will be pivotal in managing the Commerce reporting needs for a major client while also serving as a consultant to all UM planning stakeholders. In addition to managing the day to day needs of internal and external clients, this role will be managing a high functioning team of managers. 

Responsibilities 

  • Digital media performance (e.g relevant KPIs, setting measurement plans) with Commerce focus 
  • Holistic reporting across Commerce and National campaigns
  • Reporting solutions (e.g. automated dashboards, power BI solutions, enhanced data visualization) 
  • Ability to communicate succinctly and professionally to senior leadership at the client and agency 
  • Manage a team of analytics professionals 

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Demonstrated success leading work multi-functional teams  
  • Experience with reporting & data platforms such as Datorama, Tableau, SQL, R, DCM, Salesforce DMP, and/or comScore  
  • Agency and/or Commerce media or CPG experience is a must 
  • Experience with 3rd party data providers, DMPs (e.g. Salesforce), and DSPs (e.g. DBM)  
  • Strong MS Excel & Power Point skills  
  • Demonstrated success in helping clients take concrete action based on analytics and data and managing client relationships 
  • Strong understanding of data and ad tech ecosystem, with a focus on digital environment  
  • Understanding of audience analytics capabilities and good practices (measurement, matching, onboarding, workflow, limitations, and workarounds, etc.) in the current environment  
  • UM does not require candidates to have a college degree 

Desired Skills and Experience 

  • 7-10+ years of experience in agency or client-side digital media planning or media analytics 
  • Presentation development and delivery  
  • Leadership and change management  
  • Strong written and verbal communication  
  • Ability to engage, develop, and give feedback to drive success of colleagues not reporting to you directly  
  • Ability to provide feedback & guidance in a constructive manner to direct reports 
  • Collaboration, including ability to drive clarity in a multi-stakeholder environment  
  • Technical sales, sales support, solutions design, and delivery; especially in a dynamic technology and data environment

The salary range for this position is posted below.  Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
