The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Director to work on Australia's largest client, the Australian Government. This is a rare opportunity that hasn't been offered externally in 4 years.

You will work on campaigns with purpose, that make a real difference to this country. This role with enable you to think of opportunities that exist outside of standard spots and dots media.

As Media Director you are responsible for your team ensuring that the planning and buying and the final execution of the connections (media) plan.

  • You lead the Partnerships process with many different disciplines such as Client, Strategy, Media and SBU's however it is the seamless collaboration with Design Directors that encourages the pursuit for perfection in connections solution delivery.
  • You are responsible for the output and development of the Senior Partnerships Managers, Partnerships Managers, Partnerships Traders and Partnerships Executives within your team. You drive the team to explore and identify non-traditional partnerships opportunities.
  • As the Media Director you need to be able to develop the connections plan, identify partnerships opportunities that can exist outside the standard paid media environments. You are expected to lead strong relationships with agency partners to create new connections opportunities.
  • You have previous experience within the industry, and you have a fundamental and robust knowledge of the Australian media landscape across multiple categories. You have raw talent bringing together shrewd negotiations skills, outstanding interpersonal skills and a passion for your clients business that infects the entire team that work with you on campaigns.
