Position Overview

The role is to work on the holistic solution for the client. Come up with innovative ideas for the client which will lead to winning awards. Monitor competitor activities & devise client’s strategies to add maximum value to their media budget. Get acquainted with the basics of digital media. Ensure the implementation of the media strategy on the brand.

Responsibilities

  1. Work on the holistic solution for the client
  2. Come up with innovative ideas for the client which will lead to winning awards.
  3. Work on pitches in a year.
  4. Build strong relationship with the media partners.
  5. Build strong cordial working relationship with the clients.
  6. Point of escalation for team issues (within and outside of team)
  7. Manage 2-4 direct media planning reports to support career growth/development.
  8. Construct negotiation strategies to deliver on client’s objectives.
  9. Monitor competitor activities & devise client’s strategies to add maximum value to their media budget.
  10. Ensure the implementation of the media strategy on the brand.
  11. Get acquainted with the basics of digital media.

Required Skills and Experience 

  1. Thorough understanding of the media process, media department and inter-department relationships.
  2. Strong understanding towards consumers, business, and marketing.
  3. The ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  4. Good at number crunching and should be at ease with numbers.
  5. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Team Management, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
  7. Keeping abreast of current industry communication / media thinking.
  8. The ability to be a team player.
  9. 9 - 12 years’ experience in a reputed agency.
