Role Description 

The Executive's role is to contribute to and support the planning and buying of the media activity in EAME. The media plans will cover all channels from digital to traditional media, from regular display formats through to OOH. You will need to liaise with local markets and internal team members to source plan information, produce regular and ad hoc documents and build relationships with partner agencies. You will support in all aspects of local market coordination, media planning/buying, ensuring timely and accurate delivery internally and to clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Account Director and Senior Account Manager for Corporate in delivery of client briefs
  • Gain the respect and trust of all relevant client personnel by demonstrating knowledge, commitment and enthusiasm for their business
  • Integrate & collaborate with partner agencies as appropriate, including creative and PR agencies
  • Provide support to the Business Operations team, including media budgets, invoicing summaries and ad hoc requests
  • Support the team in delivering timely and insightful PCA’s
  • Collaborate with specialist teams across relevant workflows
  • Work with markets when relevant to ensure that their plan is aligned with the central strategic platform
  • Cover off relevant account management administration, including finance and billing requirements, timesheet entry and ad hoc reporting
  • Gain full understanding of both UM & EM finance processes, supporting the Business Operations Director as required

 

Desired Skills & Experience

  • You are able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with various stakeholders – clients, agency partners and your own team members
  • You are enthusiastic about media, and excited to learn more about how different media channels and tactics come together as a final media plan
  • You appreciate the nuances of different markets and keen to understand how their media landscapes differ
  • Juggling a number of tasks with often conflicting deadlines is second nature
  • The ability to be flexible and able to think on your feet
  • You can build relationships with colleagues and contacts – daily contact with key clients is not new to you, nor is working closely and collaboratively with creative agency colleagues
  • An inquisitive mindset that wants to understand the why behind every client brief
  • Good with Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
