This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to take on a maternity cover role, where you will have the chance to work hands-on within a diverse range of HR topics. You will collaborate closely with our local organization in Denmark, the Nordic HR team, while also being a part of our EMEA HR team. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can contribute to various HR initiatives and projects, making a meaningful impact within the organization. 

This maternity cover position is expected to start in August 2024 and extend until the summer of 2025. 

The HR Manager supports our Danish business on all operational and local strategic HR-matters aligned with our EMEA and Nordic HR Strategies.

You drive, coach and advice on all people aspects such as organization change, structures, HR-processes and business improvement initiatives.

The role combines both strategic and operational HR support across the Danish business. You will develop a deep understanding of the business, identifying key areas where HR can support and introduce initiatives that add value.


Job Responsibilities

You will act as a trusted partner to our people leaders supporting and challenging them within the HR area daily.

Your key responsibilities and tasks include:

Partnerships with agency management 

  • Guide, coach and advice managers in employee development, performance, employee relations and HR-issues
  • Attend management/leadership meetings to update on HR initiatives and discuss people issues. 


Change management & employee engagement  

  • Follow up and analysing employee survey results and work with leadership teams to develop action plans, ensuring employee involvement and ownership where appropriate. 
  • Use people analytics data to regularly report to the business on key metrics and provide recommendations on HR initiatives using these insights. 
  • Attend agency meetings and Town Halls to update on HR initiatives. 
  • Provide coaching and training to managers to ensure consistent best practice in people management. 
  • Oversee annual goal-setting and appraisal process.  

Resource planning, Recruitment  and Talent management

  • Manage the recruitment process end to end 
  • Work in partnership with hiring managers to add value to the recruitment and selection process. 
  • Input into resource planning with leadership teams and spot opportunities to move talent within the business. 
  • Work with leadership teams to identify critical talent  and work with managers to produce and implement action plans. 

Employee relations 

  • Manage end to end employee relations within the group. This will include restructures, redundancies, settlement negotiations, flexible working requests, mediation, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave requests. 

Policies, legal and payroll

  • Manage various employment contract types, legal aspects and policies. You will work in close collaboration with our finance department and be responsible for the delivery of accurate HR data for reporting.
  • You oversee employee insurances, pension, and other benefits.
  • Responsible for keeping all HR-policies relevant and up to date to make sure we act correctly from a legal labour law perspective and also to make sure we are an attractive employer.


Other HR-processes that you will drive, coordinate and support managers in are:  yearly salary review and pay equity analysis, environment projects and processes, wellbeing, health and rehabilitation.
You will also work closely together with our Nordic HR team to implement any relevant EMEA projects and systems, such as change to HRIS Workday during 2025.

Desired Skills & Experience

About You:

To be successful in this role you have a strong passion for people and business and experience from all aspect of HR and: 

  • A Human Resources or related field Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in a similar broad HR-role within the relevant field for at least approx 5 years.
  • Preferably you have experience from a matrix organization in an international environment.

  • Fluency in English and Danish
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Knowledge of Danish employment law, regulations and statutes
  • Problem-solving and consulting skills as well as project management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and team-oriented
