Position Title – Director – Business

Position Overview

The role is to work on the holistic solution for the client. Establish leadership/ build teams. Come up with innovative ideas for the client which will lead to winning awards. Monitor competitor activities & devise client’s strategies to add maximum value to their media budget. Get acquainted with the basics of digital media. Ensure the implementation of the media strategy on the brand.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish leadership/ build teams.
  2. Work on the holistic solution for the client
  3. Come up with innovative ideas for the client which will lead to winning awards.
  4. Work on new pitches in a year.
  5. Build strong relationship with the media partners.
  6. Build strong cordial working relationship with the clients.
  7. Point of escalation for team issues (within and outside of team).
  8. Manage 2-4 direct media planning reports to support career growth/development.
  9. Construct negotiation strategies to deliver on client’s objectives.
  10. Monitor competitor activities & devise client’s strategies to add maximum value to their media budget.
  11. Ensure the implementation of the media strategy on the brand.
  12. Get acquainted with the basics of digital media.

 Required Skills and Experience

  1. Proficient in developing media strategy and creating traditional mass media solution.
  2. Strong understanding towards consumers, business, and marketing.
  3. The ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  4. Understanding of all media channels (includes digital) and disciplines and the ability to
  5. develop simple and actionable ideas into strategies that matter.
  6. Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Team management, excellent communication, and presentation skills.
  8. Keeping abreast of current industry communication / media thinking.
  9. The ability to be a team player.
  10. Understanding the media landscape.
  11. Understanding of the category.
  12. Understanding the overall business and client needs.
  13. 12 - 15 years of experience.
