Due to the departure of a very experienced colleague, we want to strengthen our department. We are looking for a Payroll & HR Administration Manager who can not only increase the knowledge level of our team, but who can also help in our journey to a (even) more automated future as well.

Job Description

Within IPG Mediabrands Netherlands a Payroll & HR Administration Manager is responsible for the overall payroll processing of the organization. Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Execute and perform checks related to payroll cycles & HR changes;
  • Approve and release payroll administration for further processing;
  • Check, calculate and report declarations such as wage tax and pensions ;
  • Reconcile payroll statements, journal entries (verzamelloonstaat) with general ledger;
  • Analyzing, reconcile data discrepancies between ADP and payroll database (SRS);
  • Ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing in approximately 400+ employees;
  • Reconcile and calculate related provisions. Eg, holiday days, freelancers and ISR (hub);
  • Assist Controlling and Reporting with payroll related requests;
  • Managing & align with management the HC & open positions;
  • Administrative assistance in any payroll or HR team items, eg employee change records;
  • Perform & assist with internal- & external audits;
  • Identify and implement process changes and related applications;
  • Continuously up to date with all HR-related legislative changes.

Who are we looking for? 

  • Bachelors (PDL) degree with knowledge of local income tax (inclusive social security);
  • Minimal 5 years payroll experience within an international company;
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of relevant legislations;
  • ADP or similar payroll tooling experience, inclusive (process) optimization;  
  • Pro-active self-starter and ability to work autonomously;
  • Easily maintain relationships with the various departments;
  • Ensuring accurate reflection of payroll and compliance;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Interface with external payroll service provider;
  • Speaks and writes the Dutch & English language fluently;
  • Easy approachable and open for change;
  • Thorough way of working, with a sense of flexibility.
