Key Responsibilities

 

Media Campaign Optimization

  • Craft and execute impactful media campaigns that exceed client expectations, ensuring buying metrics align with post-buy analysis.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by analyzing TV ratings trends, reach/GRP curves, and leveraging local insights like seasonality and program performance to predict future media trends.
  • Continuously refine campaign strategies by integrating data-driven insights and creative approaches.

Vendor and Client Relationships

  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with media vendors to secure strategic advantages and smooth campaign execution.
  • Engage with clients to understand their goals, challenge briefs constructively, and present innovative solutions that deliver results.
  • Lead negotiations with confidence, leveraging your deep understanding of the evolving media landscape.

Integrated Media Planning

  • Design and implement integrated media plans that blend traditional and digital channels to achieve brand objectives.
  • Explore alternative media opportunities, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry trends.
  • Be proactive in addressing challenges, offering timely and creative solutions to keep campaigns on track.

Documentation and Accuracy

  • Maintain meticulous records of rates, discounts, and volume commitments to support financial accuracy and transparency
  • Manage the end-to-end book-bill-pay process, ensuring seamless and error-free transactions

 

 

Requirements

 

Education and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, Business, Finance, or Actuarial Science
  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience in media buying, planning, or implementation within an integrated agency environment

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong grasp of traditional and digital media landscapes, with a knack for media optimization tools
  • Proficiency in tools like Kantar/DTAM and Nielsen/TAM
  • Exceptional negotiation, administrative, and analytical skills, coupled with a creative mindset
  • Proven ability to thrive under pressure, meeting deadlines with precision and poise
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strategic thinker with a flair for crafting insightful, impactful media plans for major accounts

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience forecasting media trends and adapting strategies accordingly
  • A strong network of media vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with integrated campaign planning and execution
